This is BAM's newest market offering, a softpack with BAM's excellent inner core construction - to my mind the best I have seen on the market - and a hybrid hard/soft pack design.  A center soft panel is surrounded by ABS on one side and rugged, hard rubber on the other.  The hard rubber is a VERY rigid, sturdy material, and beyond excellent sturdiness it has the fringe benefit of being the only case material I know that actually grips the overhead bin surface when travelling by plane, so that the case does not slip around in the bin while in transit.  This is an excellent everyday use case at a very nice price.

Another new BAM offering, the "Hip Hop" attaches to BAM's trademark "Trekking" cases via a velcro and strap system, to allow doublers to carry either alto/sop or alto/tenor as one unit.  Very handy & reasonably priced addition for BAM Trekking owners.

If James Bond were a saxophone player, his case would be a BAM Trekking:  more storage than you can shake a stick at, and lots of cool design innovation.  Very nice design mixture of core materials offer firm support, as well as forgiving and flexible protection next to the saxophone itself.  Great for players that need to transport different makes of horns in the same everyday-use case.  Not recommended for below deck storage when flying.

I own a BAM trekking case for tenor - it's the only case I've found, to date, that's both of optimal quality and that fits my SML's oversized bell.
